I have always aspired to be surrounded by people smarter than me but joining the MIT community would put me in the same room with some of the brightest people in the world. I am currently working on an algorithm for automatic interpretation of images and video streams that can be applied to keep our world safe, share emotions and experiences through the digital world and even bridge the gap between sign language and spoken language!
