Hello, everyone! Darla, or Mrs. Lightsey, or “Super Grammy”, has lost her battle to cancer. She’s fought a long, strong battle for the past 2.5 years and last night, on 9/22/23, she took her last breath surrounded by love and family. My dad informed me that he will be paying out of pocket to celebrate the life of and lay to rest my momma. Life insurance and burial insurance would not cover her due to her pre existing health conditions. Granted, dad was aware of this and has been saving for it in preparation. However, I would like to lighten his load and try to help in any way possible. He has carried enough burden. He has not asked but will greatly appreciate anything we can give. The estimated cost was $8-10 thousand, I am simply trying to give him a gift of love to help him send her Home by allowing us to help. Nothing is expected, but anything is appreciated greatly.
