Hey everyone, I decided to start this GoFundMe on behalf of my family.
My dad lost his department manager position at Lowe's earlier this year. He worked there for 16 years and it was close to being 17. He had to figure out a way to get that income another way and fast. So, he got licensed to be a home inspector. Although, finding work has been really difficult since everyone doesn't usually get work done around the holidays due to various reasons.
My parents didn't get to go to college and jobs will pick anyone with a degree over someone with years of experience. My mom was a stay-at-home mom when we were younger since no one could watch us and they couldn't afford daycare. So, she's applying to jobs as well with no luck after not being able to work for almost 15 years. My dad is basically applying everywhere with no luck and is working nonstop on basically anything he can find.
I have two older sisters with jobs helping pay bills and a younger brother. I, unfortunately, can't get a job at this time and I'm trying to do my part to help out. We're living month to month and with the holidays coming, no one needs work done or home inspections.
I would be eternally grateful if anyone could donate just a little, so I can help my parents get some breathing room and get back on their feet.
All the money would go towards paying bills and groceries :)
