Reason for the Season

I have been honored with the opportunity to continue the organization and implementation of a school wide gift-giving event during the holiday season. Just last year, we raised over $5000 to ensure that every child had a gift to open during the season. This year has granted me with the chance to serve another diverse group of learners; New Brunswick Public Schools. As an educator for Livingston Elementary School, I have been granted the chance to meet and educate approximately 450 incredible students, from a tight-knit community.

The reason for the holiday season is to spread kindness and to teach our scholars the importance of giving back to their communities. After seeing the impact this event has made on my former students of Paterson, NJ; I am eager and excited to share this event for the third year in a row.

With the support of family, friends, colleagues, and local community members; my goal is that we lead by example and show our youth how a little bit of kindness can go a very long way!
