Save Rebeccas Coffee in Southpark
Looking for a Christmas/New Years Miracle!
Save Rebecca’s Coffee Shop. Rebecca needs your help now!
Why?
A greedy repugnant new landlord more than doubled her rent and is forcing her to close her business at Christmas time. Rebecca has worked tirelessly, somedays up to 18 hours a day, to keep the business open and keep people employed. She has burned through all her resources on legal fees and rising business costs. She will loose her business AND her home without your help!
What is the goal?
The goal of this fund raiser is to help Rebecca Zearing get enough money to save her house from foreclosure and to help give her a fresh start for her business in a new location.
Why does it matter?
For years Rebecca’s Coffee has been an integral part of the Southpark community, located in San Diego, California. Rebecca has been instrumental in helping Southpark become the vibrant community it is now. She was there building community and helping neighbors for years before the upscale breweries and restaurants settled into the area.
Rebecca is the heart of Southpark.
It’s more than a coffeeshop/restaurant. Rebecca’s is Southpark’s community hub. Early morning customers meet and enjoy casual conversation over her award-winning fresh hot scones. In the evenings people enjoyed a number of events including Poetry night, Storyteller Night, Songwriter Night, Jazz night, two open mic nights and great shows by local original acoustic artists all FREE to the community. Rebecca has hosted many fundraisers for others in need and local charities for veterans, wounded warriors, animal rescue, school fundraisers and more.
Why do this act of kindness?
Because a truly deserving person who would never ask for help really needs the help. If Rebecca were to receive a dollar for every free coffee or meal she has given away to someone in need she would likely be a millionaire. Please donate now and help us spread the word.
