Casa Montessori MPM is a non-profit educational institution. We are certified by the Departamento de la Familia and the Consejo de Educacion de Puerto Rico.
Our students learn critical thinking, working with others, and to be independent, respectful, kind and committed citizens.They also learn music, appreciation and respect for the environment.
Each of our students is respected and valued as an individual.
From early age they develop order, coordination, concentration, and independence.Multi- Age classrooms re-create a family structure where older students serve as mentor and role models, while younger children feel supported and gain confidence.
Our students enjoy freedom with limits, resulting in a love for learning that is sustainable over a lifetime. Our teachers (guides) model respect, loving kindness and a belief in peaceful conflict resolution.
Thanks to the support of parents, family and friends our institution has provided educational satisfaction to the community since 2012.
Our family has significantly grown since we started. We currently have 75 students and we need bigger facilities to be able to continue our mission and provide our services to a larger portion of the community. For that purpose, we are currently in the process of relocating to a bigger facility that will permit us to continue our mission.
We are officially starting operations on AUGUST 1st, 2019. We have lot's of work to do in the next couple of months.
A new school requires physical, spiritual, emotional effort as well as financial. Like many other non-profit educational institutions, the income from tuition and monthly fees is not sufficient to cover the costs of habilitating a new school.Thank you for showing interest in sponsoring non-profit educational institutions and community initiatives. By This means we are soliciting contributions and / or sponsorship.
With your help we will continue our mission and we will promote an educational approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child - physical, social, emotional and cognitive.
But above all a love of learning that will last a lifetime. We appreciate any support you can give. Thank you in advance from our students, staff and volunteers.❤️
