Rent A Ryde - TV Pilot Campaign

Introduction
We are independent filmmakers in Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia who are creating a T.V. Show. We have decided to come together from all over the South in order to film the Pilot episode of a promising sitcom.
The Show
The nation’s lowest customer-rated Rent-A-Ryde center has it all. Soul crushing monotony? Check. Interpersonal conflict? Check. Unreasonable bosses and insane customers? Double check. Newly hired Nick is in for a wild first day as he learns that, while the cars are going places, the employees aren’t. #rentaryde
Preface - Expectation/Reality
Our schedule is set for
March 31st, April 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th.
A 5 day shoot: two weekends in Alexandria, La.
Our talented group of individuals will try to create the best possible comedy Pilot episode imaginable.
Once we have a finished episode, the remaining 9 episodes of the season will be written and the show along with the Pilot will be pitched to various companies for funding.
The Budget
To shoot Rent A Ryde we’ve put together a budget of around $10,000. This Passion Project has brought together over 15 crew members who have commited to creating this story
CAMERA & GEAR RENTAL - $1,250
Fundamentals of a successful shoot.
INSURANCE FOR PRODUCTION - $250
Just in case.
TRAVEL / LODGING / FOOD - $2,500
A decent bed and food goes along way. This covers food and lodging for our crew so no one is losing money or sleep.
PROPS / WARDROBE - $1,000
This goes toward signs, clothes, business cards, and other little knick knacks.
CREW - $3,000 (IF GOAL IS MET)
Our crew didn’t even ask about being paid when we brought the project to them. They signed on at the drop of a hat. It’s the least they deserve for their unwavering hard work and support.
TOTAL = $8,000 + $500 (for fees)
In the grand scheme of things this production is much bigger than the budget we've set, but we believe that this is a solid starting point from which we can build something amazing. Every donation we recieve, be it $5 or $100, is a big deal in helping us bring Rent A Ryde from paper to reality.
