Reopen the Quarry Cafe!

My name is Denise Andrews, and I am the proud owner of the Quarry Café, now located in Lunenburg, MA.  Since opening a little over a year ago, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most wonderful people who have become like family to me.  Everyone has been so kind, helpful and supportive, which has made my job so much easier and pleasant.  In fact, I refer to Quarry Café as "My Happy Place!"

In December, the Quarry Café was forced to move to another location... and this is a good thing because now we will be able to offer delivery, along with takeout and catering.  We expect to be open at least  two nights per week for dinner, and we will be applying for an alcohol license.

As I am sure you are aware, opening a new restaurant takes quite a bit of time and patience and money.  We had hoped to be open by now, but due to some unforeseen obstacles along the way, we are in need of some help.  Our new location needs some work to be done in order for us to open.  We are hoping that there are some members of our community who can help us with some electrical, plumbing and carpentry work at a reasonable cost.  In addition, we are also seeking some financial investors/donors, who can help bring our dream into reality.  We are in need of about $25,000 to complete the work that needs to be done, plus help in restocking our inventory.

In an effort to raise these funds, we are offering some unique and fun options.  One is "chair naming rights" to anyone who would like to purchase a chair/booth spot/counter seat.  The cost is $50, and your name will be displayed on the back.  And, if available, this will be your permanent seat when you come into the restaurant.

The other option is to have a signature dish named after you.  The cost is $150 for two (2) years.  You will have several delicious breakfast, lunch and/or dinner options to choose from, and this will be on a first come, first serve basis.

I am all about service and giving back to others, and my staff and I are ready, willing and able to serve all of you.  I look forward to having our regular customers join us at our new location and invite everyone to come in and try us out.  We want to be an integral part of the community; a place where you come in hungry and leave full and with a smile on your face.  My staff and I want this to become your "happy place" as it is ours.
