Repair TAP's Water Damage

Third Avenue Playhouse ('TAP') is a nonprofit (501C3) producer of intimate professional theatre in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. For the past two years we've been included in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's list of "Top 10" Wisconsin theatre experiences. We're also the only provider of year-round theatre in the primarily seasonal (summer tourism) region of Door County .

Three weeks ago a pipe burst in our 3rd floor Air Handler. The water gushed out all the way to the basement, causing the most damage in the lobby. To make matters worse, the burst pipe also caused our ancient boiler to cease functioning. Now, three weeks later, a demolition/reconstruction crew has repaired the lobby and we have a brand-new high-efficiency boiler. 

While insurance has covered a great deal of the cost, TAP is still looking at out-of-pocket expenses of over $5000. Such an amount will be an enormous setback for our organization and will cut into what we're able to allocate to our primary function: providing affordable, professional year-round theatre to Door County's residents and visitors.
