Replacing a WWII Veteran's Flags
Donation protected
Yesterday morning, my father, a WWII Veteran, woke up, only to find that his flags were burned to ashes. He had a large American flag and a large Navy flag, flying proudly in his front yard as well as 2 flags flying on his car. Someone during the night, came into his yard and burned them right off the pole and his car. It killed me, watching his story on the news and seeing him get choked up when he was trying to talk about what happened. I cannot believe that someone could do this to him. He's such a sweet old man that loves to talk to everybody and tell them his stories from the war. I'm reaching out in hopes of getting him some help with replacing what has been lost: 1. Replacing all the flags that were burned and the pole (if needed) 2. Fixing the damage on his car and 3. Getting a couple of security cameras installed to help him feel a little safer. I want him to see that there are still some good people out there. Any little bit helps. Thank you so much. I know he will truly appreciate it.
