Rescuer needs Rescuing

I have been a first responder in New York City since 1986. I have been amember of the Emergency Medical Services when it was run by Health and Hospital Corp, as a paramedic with the FDNY,
and a company named Transcare that was formerly Metropolitan
After working for Transcare for more than 20 years, they famously went out of business in February of 2016.
I got hired by another company and things were going OK until I got a call to help a person in the East Village. When I got to the scene, in my estimation, there was no room to effectively work on the patient and there were no other rescuers but my partner.
I made a decision to bring the patient out to the ambulance where we were able to successfully get his heart going again. We transported him to the hospital and he was actually opening his eyes, breathing spontaneuosly and moving.Because of my decision, to move the patient instead of working him up in the middle of a small Bistro, New York State Department of Health and the New York City Regional Emergency Medical Services Council decided to suspend my paramedic license. This decision has made it impossible for me to get work doing what I love.
This incident happened in September of 2016 and I have not had my hearing yet. I contacted the New York State Department of Health to ask why I have not been contacted since the suspension and was told that they "sent the paperwork to the wrong address".In the meantime, I have burned through all my savings, and I have accumulated credit card debt to the tune of $15,000.00. My landlord has been a saint about this whole situation but I need to pay him back rent Our utilities all have turn off notices. I recently started driving for Uber and Lyft to try and keep the lights on. I'm not asking for the whole amount. I just need help getting back on my feet. We are fighting to stay afloat.I am trying to keep my family from going under. I am confident that once I am heard, I will be allowed to get back to helping those in need.
We need your help. Please, PLEASE help us.
May God bless you and keep you and yours.
