Rescuing 2 Sweet Stray Dogs from Turks & Caicos

As some of you may know I recently visited Turks & Caicos. My second day there my mom and I went for a walk and on our way home 2 stray dogs that were laying in rocks on the side of the road got up and followed us home. One boy and one girl that look to be shepherd mixes around 2 years old. They were both very thin so of course we went in the house to see what we could feed them. Besides being thin, they both have many cuts and scars. The boy had cuts and what looked like bug bites all over his legs, three of which were bleeding and the girl has many scars on her face. Despite all of this, the boy is so sweet and friendly. The girl is very sweet as well, but she is currently shy. She only let me pet her twice, but after the day they followed us home, they continued to sleep in front of our villa and every morning they were there when I went out front. She comes very close to me and wags her tail any time I talk to her. They both follow me and have both taken food from my hands and are extremely gentle. Sometimes they would come to the house together, other times it was just one dog at a time.
These dogs are not only friendly with people they are dog friendly and not even reactive dogs. The first night they were with us we walked down the road as my mom thought she knew the house they might stay at. These 2 dogs continued to follow us. As we got closer to the house my mom thought they might belong to, the boy started to whine. 4 Rottweiler/Shepherd mix dogs then ran out of the driveway barking and growling. My mom and I immediately turned around and while those 4 dogs followed us at a distance, our 2 new loyal companions didn’t even bark back. They turned right around with us and followed us back to the house. A couple of days later I saw the boy gently playing in the middle of the road with one of those 4 Rottweiler mix looking dogs and the girl just napped curled up in a ball in the front lawn. Cars fly up and down the street and although the dogs are smart, every time a car drove by and the dogs weren’t in my sight, my heart sank as I was worried I would hear a thud and one of these beautiful loving dogs would be gone.
It broke my heart to leave these 2 babies behind, so before I left I contacted the Turks and Caicos SPCA and they have been helping me learn what is required to bring these 2 loving dogs to the United States to find their forever homes. They are such deserving dogs and I know they would make the most obedient and loving companions. Please help me bring these 2 dogs to the United States to find homes and if you are interested in fostering or adopting, please message me directly.
The dogs are each required to stay at a boarding facility that the TCSPCA has gotten me in touch with for 2 weeks minimum. The cost for boarding is $25 per dog per day. During that 2 weeks is when they receive all vet care and they make sure that the dogs are socialable before flying and know how to walk on a leash before leaving. These dogs were not feral and with how much progress I made with the girl on only a few days, I know with a little love and care she will come around quickly. I live in the Tampa Bay Area, but shipping them close to me would be about $1,000 more so I am completely willing to drive to Miami (about 10 hours round trip) to bring these dogs to a foster or forever home in the Tampa Bay Area. They do not need to be fostered or homed together.

Here is a breakdown of costs required to bring the dogs to Miami, Florida:
Travel crates: $260 each
Shipping Package: $40 each
Vaccines/Spay/Neuter/Blood Tests: $100 each
Doxycycline: $50 each
Bordetella Vaccine: $25 each
Boarding (2 weeks minimum): $350+ each
Administration Fee: $125

I am hoping to raise $3,000 as once the SPCA traps the dogs, they won’t know if they will require any extra vet care that may incur extra costs until a vet examines them and a blood test is performed. I am also not positive how many days they will keep them in boarding for, but 14 days is mandatory. Any funds left over will be donated to the Turks and Caicos SPCA to help with their program that helps to spay and neuter the stray dogs on the island.
