Resist the Wall - Save Santa Ana
Donation protected
We are fighting Trump's border wall in the Rio Grande Valley, and we're asking you to help us host a series of resistance events designed to draw the attention of the national press and pressure Congress to refuse to fund Trump's walls.
Events will highlight the natural and cultural treasures our communities could lose behind the border wall, including Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge and the Historic La Lomita Mission. They will also call attention to the people who will lose their land, the communities who will be threatened by flooding and the migrants who will be forced by border walls into remote and areas where hundreds die every year.
Please help us make these events as large and successful as possible by helping us pay for:
"No Border Wall" T-shirts to incentivize attendance
A "Save Santa Ana" banner
Stage, tent, and equipment for rallies
Food and beverages
The Lower Rio Grande Valley Sierra Club will be taking in donations on behalf of RGV Resist, an alliance of groups and individuals working to resist policies at the state and federal level that would be harmful to the communities, farms and natural areas of the Rio Grande Valley, and its most vulnerable populations.
