Reusable coffee cups raising funds

I am Gilli a fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Research. Besides being very interested in raising funds for MS Research I am also very concerned about the huge amount of waste being created by us coffee lovers buying take away cups of coffee. BUT if I sell reusable coffee cups then I would be serving two purposes. 1/ raising funds for MS Research 2/ reduce the amount of waste created by throw away cups. As soon as I can get cups I will sell them for $10each which will go to MS Research and reduce the take away cups thrown away by [1cup a day per working week=1x5x50=250 cups per cup sold]
If a person uses a reusable cup then there are cafes /coffee shops that will give a discount and so very quickly the amount of money saved has covered the cost of buying a reusable cup.
THE PROBLEM is that I as a disbaled person do not have the money to fund this project and all money raised for MS Research goes to reseach. So this is why I am asking people to help me. I feel this is an urgent problem, living on a small Island {Tasmania} I can see it quickly disappearing from view under a mountain of thrown away take away cups. This is not only a problem for Tasmania but in fact the world and I know there are people using reusable cups BUT not fast enough. I already have orders for cups and would devote my time to selling them. We may only be a small island but we get a LOT of visitors who like our clean air and greeness.
I want Tasmania to be a leaders in working to solve the huge waste problem.
I had hoped to be selling at the start of the tourist season. Well that hasnt happened but I dont think it matters that much there are enough residents to win over to a better future.
So I am asking folk for some help please. Once I have cups to sell you will be able to find me every Saturday at Salamanca Markets near Banjos where I always sit to fundraise. Come and have a chat and hopefully very soon buy a cup thereby helping MS Research and the WORLD
