Wendy Aceves passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2015. She died instantly in a fatal car accident. Her husband, John, and their two children, a 15 year old girl who is a Sophomore in high school and an 8 year old son who is in 3rd grade, survive Wendy.
Wendy had been involved in both Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, including leading the Scouting Religious Emblem Programs. As a devout Catholic she was also a member in various ministries at her church, and was a wonderful volunteer, dedicating much of her time at her children's schools.
She was a graduate of St. Ambrose and Cardinal Gibbons.
Just like in the picture, she always wore that smile on her face! Wendy will be greatly missed by her husband and children, as well as her mother, family, friends and Scouting communities.
The Aceves family is heartbroken and would benefit greatly from any financial support you might consider appropriate to help offset the cost of funeral services and lighten their financial burden during their time of mourning.
