Rich & Ava’s Medical Expenses

On Sunday September 30th around 4:30am Rich and Ava were on the 14 freeway northbound near Agua Dulce headed to a dirt bike race when they were suddenly hit by a reckless driver who was going the wrong direction. Rich swerved the car so he would take most of the hit instead of his daughter. Responders were called by bystanders who rushed to find them upside down dangling in their Toyota Tundra. They both had to be cut out and rushed to Henry Mayo Hospital in Santa Clarita. Ava, who is a senior at Hart High School, received minor bruising and cuts with a severe broken arm that required surgery. Rich, however is in critical condition in the ICU. He is currently intubated, with 2 broken legs, 2 broken ankles, a broken wrist, broken pelvis, broken ribs, and internal bleeding. He has already had one surgery, with many more to follow. Even after numerous surgeries to repair everything, he will have to be in rehab and physical therapy for months to regain somewhat of normal function. This means he will not be able to work to support himself or his family for a long time. Both Rich & Ava need your support to help with their upcoming medical bills that will be through the roof. They are already getting slammed with them while they are still here in the hospital.
