Richard Stephen Sharp- recovery

On February 18th, 2018 Richard "Stephen" Sharp was involved in an automobile accident. He was working his shift as a paramedic, had just dropped off a patient at the ER, when a vehicle ran a stop sign, hitting  the ambulance he was in. As a result, his humerus bone (arm from shoulder to elbow) was fractured into 3 pieces. He has had surgery to try to repair his arm, in which a metal plate and 29 screws were used to reattach two of the pieces back together. The surgeon was unable to reattach the third piece at the time. He is currently recovering from the surgery, as well as awaiting tests due to a possible shoulder and back injury. He is also experiencing numbness in his legs. This ordeal has been physically excruciating for him, and he has been told it could be up to a year before he can return to work as a paramedic. This fundraiser, and any donations made will help with living expenses (utilities, etc), and travel expenses while he is recovering. Stephen is the father of 5 beautiful children ranging from 5 to 12 years old.  Any size donation is appreciated beyond words. We are also asking for prayers for him, as we believe God for a complete healing in Stephens body.

Stephen is 33 years old. He graduated high school in Brownwood in 2000, and almost immediately began furthering his education. He graduated from TSTC in Brownwood with an Associates of Applied Science. He is currently the Assistant Operations Supervisor and a Paramedic at Life Guard Ambulance Service in Brownwood. He has served Brownwood and the surrounding communities for his entire adult life. He has dedicated himself to helping others and serving this area, and this is a great opportunity for our community to thank him for all he has given.
