Richmond Bike Park: FINAL SPRINT

Success! Dirt World Bike Park is now open.

Located in the heart of Richmond, California, our 2.1-acre park features four jump lines, a BMX track, and a pump track.

Richmond is a tough urban community -- about 20 percent of the population lives below the poverty line -- with a shortage of recreational space for youths and families. The site of our park used to be a neglected lot full head-high weeds and trash. 

With your help, we've transformed it into a place of fun and positivity -- the weekends have been buzzing with BMX and MTB riders of all skill levels and we recently hosted summer camp with Bay Area BMXers. We see our efforts as one step towards making our city a healthier, more vibrant place for everyone.

Now we're asking for your financial support to make major improvements to the park: better riding surfaces, asphalt turns for the tracks, permanent signage, seating and tables, etc. And we still need to pay off some of our outstanding construction bills. We are on the Richmond Greenway, between 20th and 23rd streets, and Chanslor and Ohio avenues. The McVittie Post Office Annex is a good landmark.
