Memorial Fund for Rico Eltine
Donation protected
On Monday June 11th, Rico Eltine was struck by lightning in Margate, FL. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff at Northwest Medical Center, on Friday June 15 Rico passed away. Rico and his family are the kind of people that work over 80 hours a week to put food on the table and support their loved ones. Rico spent his days working in landscaping and his nights working for Chuck's Steak House. Whether he was working or spending time with his family, Rico always had a bright, infectious smile on his face. An incredibly warm hearted and good man, Rico was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back, and no matter how bad the day was going or how hard the work was, he would have that huge smile on his face, a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Rico was a good man, the kind of man that inspired others to try to be and do better. The world has truly lost someone special, and he will be greatly missed.
Rico's family will now have to shoulder the burden of monumental hospital and funeral costs as well as all the financial losses that come from the family having to miss work. We humbly request that if anyone has the means, that they help to lessen this horrible burden that this hard-working loving family now must endure, by donating anything that they can spare. All funds will go directly to Rico’s wife.
