Riker and his family need our help!

Alex and Nate welcomed their baby boy Riker Arkham Aereaux on September 19 at 11:45pm. Along with the joy of his birth came the unfortunate news that Riker has been born with a neurological condition known as Sturge-Weber syndrome, a very large port wine stain across his face and glaucoma.
A specialist stepped in to treat his glaucoma. In the first week of his life Riker endured 2 surgeries and 3 stays in the NICU and has endured daily eye drops and goggles ever since. Though the initial surgeries went well during follow up appointments they have found that Riker's vision has not improved.
This sweet little boy and his family face a long road ahead and it's our turn to step in to help them. They are facing many appointments, treatments and medical bills. And while Alex and Nate are working with their insurance company and social workers they could use our help with the bills from his initial surgeries and NICU stays as well as the expenses for transportation and the normal expenses the addition of a new member to a family. The current goal will help cover the costs of his first two surgeries (about $3000) and help them prepare for what's ahead. Riker is facing another surgery next week, the possibility of developing seizures as well as other neurological effects as he grows up.
