River Birch Homes

Jeff and Amanda Elven stepped out in faith to start River Birch Properties, a rental company that will provide affordable and safe housing to low-income families.  With a background in both ministry and construction, they took out a loan and have begun remodeling their first rental home.  Not only are they providing quality housing for low-income families, they are helping to transform a neighborhood.  The house that they bought had been condemned, but they are putting in the time and money to transform a condemned house in what many consider to be a "rough" neighborhood into a safe home that will provide stability for a family who needs permanent housing.  Vulnerable families with low incomes in our community will benefit from River Birch Properties.  While this is a business, the goal is for the properties to support the purchase of more homes and to employ the Elvens (at least part-time) to remodel, manage, and minister to the families that live in their rental homes.  We would be so grateful for you to invest in River Birch Properties as you to help to support Jeff and Amanda, who stepping out in faith have put a significant amout of their own money into making well kept, affordable housing a reality for families in our community.  
Over a year ago, this picture shows the condition of the condemned house.Now, after many hours of labor, this is a current picture of the house.  Jeff continues to work on the inside, and it should be ready for the first tenants in the next three months.
