Robert “Tank” Meekins
Donation protected
I am Arnique Edwards the girlfriend of Robert, I’m from LA county. We are trying to raise funds for his funeral expenses and anything left will be left to his son Princeton and put into a bank account.
Robert "Tank" Meekins Jr was known for many good things. A loyal friend, dependable son, but most importantly—a dedicated father.
He adored his son, Princeton. The two were inseparable.
Unfortunately, Tank was taken from us by a senseless act of violence. What was supposed to be a night of bowling with friends turned into the last time three people would ever be seen alive again. Tank was one of three bystanders gunned down at the bowling alley, January 5th. This tragedy still has the family in shock. There's a lot of emotion, confusion, and obvious anger.
But the family's number one priority right now is taking care of Tank's legacy-Princeton.
While memorial arrangements are underway, the family is accepting donations toward the service and for Princeton.
He's hurting right now, and understandably so.
We're trying our best to get through this and appreciate all the calls, messages and texts we've gotten. The love received has been overwhelming and very comforting.
In addition to our gratitude for the donations made, we also make two more requests:
Please respect our privacy during this time. Understand that information will be shared when it is available and appropriate.
And secondly—love your family. Hug them. Call that friend you've been thinking about. Let go of that grudge against the people who've hurt you. Leave the violence behind!
Just please...love on them hard, while you still have them.
