Runeford's knee surgery

Hi, I'm Rooney!

I'm an 8 year old Beagle mix.  I've not had a good life with my previous parents,  I was pretty sick and hurt, but my new mom and dad made me better.

I was walking in the backyard a few nights ago and tripped and all of a sudden my knee really started hurting and I couldn't walk anymore.  Dad noticed something was wrong and took me to the hospital right away and we found out I "ruptured the right ACL"   Dad said he would do everything he could to make me jump and play again.  

I saw Dad crying last night, and he's always been there for me.  I want to show Dad I'm a big dog and can help...I know he wants me to be able to jump and play.  I know nothing would make him happier to see me running again.

I would be so very grateful if you would help my Dad pay for the surgery.  He's been crying a lot lately.  If you want I'll send you postcards with how I'm doing after the surgery and my rehabilitation.

They money would be used almost immediatley to help pay for the surgery and my rehabilitation.  I know Dad said he was going to get me in as soon as humanely possible.
