Support Rosalynn McGinnis' Future!!

In 1995, Henri Piette entered Rosalynn McGinnis' life changing it forever when she was only 10 years old.

In 1997, after abusing and grooming her for two years he kidnapped her when she was only 12 years old.

This was followed by increased daily abuse, labor intensive work, begging, homelessness and starvation amongst other unimaginable things.

In captivity, Rosalynn gave birth to nine children all without prenatal care or medical assistance until the last. In which case, she gave birth in a small clinic in Mexico due to both her and the baby's life's being in jeopardy. 

Over this period of time, her life consisted of working in anyway possible to feed and care for her children while continuing to suffer abuse from her abductor.

In June of 2016, Rosalynn found opportunity and was able to escape with the youngest eight of her nine children. The oldest child escaped the extreme daily abuse shortly before that time and they have since been reunited.

Since their escape, there have been many new and happy experiences but have not been without challenges.

Her abductor, Henri Piette, has been captured in Mexico and brought back to the United States to face charges related to this story.

To date, Henri Piette has been charged with crimes against Rosalynn McGinnis on both the State and Federal levels that include kidnapping and sexual abuse.

The cost of daily life, healthcare and the many needs of this large family are more than any one person or family can handle.

This GoFundMe campaign will be used to meet those needs. The majority of these funds will be  going toward the purchase of a house that they can make their home.  In addition, these funds will be used for insuring and maintaining  their vehicle that they rely heavily on daily.

Rosalynn and her children are my cousins and an amazing and magnetizing bunch who deserve to have their needs met and their dreams come true!!
