Final Expenses for Rick Rosenberg

This is my best friend, Rick Rosenberg.  He never met a stranger and was always about helping out his fellow man or woman.    In the early morning hours of November 12th he was murdered in South Austin.  As you may imagine the shock of this action has left his three children, Calvin, Ryan and Hayley, and close friends in shock and disbelief.  

Rick was an independant contractor, mainly working on roofing and remodeling projects for homeowners.  He lived paycheck to paycheck and we are trying to raise funds to have him cremated, and settle his accounts.  

Time is of the essence, as the Medical Examiner is holding his remains until we can secure funding to complete the cremation process.  If you were touched by Rick in his travels and or can assist in this endeavor your donation will be greatly appreciated.

The police announced today they have a suspect and are actively pursuing the arrest of him.  This process will be long and difficult for the family and any additional funds will be used to cover necessary expenses.

I have loved Rick and his goofy ways, and know I will not ever meet anyone like him.  I miss him terribly and am at a loss as to where my grief will take me.  I just pray that we get through the bitterness this senseless murder has brought and am able to open our hearts to others in the future.
