ONE WOMAN, ONE BOAT, 3000 MILES
Row Auroras mission is to raise awareness about the problem of plastics polluting the world’s oceans and to encourage others to reduce their single use plastics.

Dawn will be doing this by taking on the massive task of rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. If this was not a big enough challenge she will be doing it solo and unsupported joining just 6 other women on earth who have ever done this and she will be aiming to beat the world record of 49 days.
100ft waves, sharks, storms and sleep deprivation are just some of the dangers Dawn could be facing.
This problem affects every person and living creature on the planet as the discarded plastics will eventually end up in the food chain. Small particles of plastic cannot be distinguished by marine life and plankton from its normal food. As small creatures are eaten by larger ones, the poisoning of the food chain continues to get worse.
If we continue to pollute our oceans, by 2050 the weight of plastics will be greater than that of the fish.

All the proceeds of this campaign will be donated to the Marine Conservation society.
Thank you you for supporting me,
