Summer's Mobile Chicken Caravan

THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING SUPPORT SO FAR
My therapeutic chicken program will soon be mobile. I will be able to reach more members of my community. Our chickens will be able to visit age care facilities, schools and individuals that are home bound.

*****MY VISION FOR MY COMMUNITY IS NOT FINISHED I STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT****
CHICKENS TO LOVE CONSISTS OF TWO PROJECTS
(1) CHICKENS TO LOVE HOME BASE LOCATION
My non-profit Program runs from a community coop located at Community Lifestyle Support (a non-profit ability organisation).
We would like to expand the current coop boundaries and create shade and a storage area in a fenced area. Not only will our chickens be happier, we will able to meet the needs of our community better.
This space will help cultivate self-esteem, self-worth and new skill sets. This new space will be used to run workshops, Chicken Yoga, Research and Development, Chicken therapeutic programs. This space will provide Chickens to Love with endless possibilities.
(2) MOBILE CHICKEN CARAVAN
Our caravan will run from our home base at Community Lifestyle Support. This caravan will assist us to safely transport our chickens to age care facilities, other organisations, educational facilities and individuals that are home bound.
I want to spread the chicken love, help people in my community and create acceptance and understanding of differences. My chicken caravan story featured in the Brisbane Times earlier this year.
HOW WILL MONEY RAISED THROUGH THIS PROJECT WILL BE ALLOCATED??
Home base:
• Supplies for fencing
• Additional shade and storage area. Approximately the size of double bay garage. This covered area will enable us to run the program in all weather conditions.
• Seating
• Turf
Mobile Chicken Caravan:
• Set up and running costs of the program
• We also would like to provide a free service to those who would benefit from our program but are unable to financially to contribute.
• Cover costs of insurance and registration of trailer
We currently do not receive any financial support from the government or any other organisations. We will continue to apply for grants so far we have been unsuccessful. We are not a business.
HOW CHICKENS HAVE HELPED ME
At the age of 10, I developed the world's first autism therapy/social skills program using chickens.
Living with autism I always struggled to fit in, I felt like I didn't belong at times my heart was very sad.
Chickens have helped me understand myself, connect with my family and people in the community.
Chickens have given me confidence, reassurance and love.
I always belong when I'm with my chickens. A chickens love doesn't discriminate their love is unconditional.
Please help me help others in her community love Summer
