Hello my name is Araven Wiggins and I'm an 18 year old high school student in my senior year. This past summer I attended Nursing Unlimited,Inc in Miami, Fl to get a jump start on my nursing career. In just a matter of three weeks I earned a certification in CPR and in HHA (Home Health Aide). Looking back and seeing how much I've achieved in such little time, I'm ready to go back in and push for my CNA. Around spring time in March my family and I experienced a great tragedy. Due to an electric fire, Fire Fighter Officials declared our home a total loss. Currently were still displaced from our home and our living situation is currently unstable.Having a single mother with two children finances are restricted for my family. With this grant contribution I will be able to continue working towards not only a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) but to become a RN (Registered Nurse). Pursuing a nursing career I would also hope to become substantially sucessful with doing something I have a great passion for but also to help my mother and continue to rebuild our lives.
