Help Lance, my Service Dog

Donation protected
Lance is a 4 year old Autism Service Dog. Recently, he was a passenger in a car accident. He had x-rays which showed damage on both sides of his left knee and damage to the outer ligament on his right knee. He is not, of course, working at this point and may not be able to do public access anymore after the surgery, but he will continue to be with his handler at home.

Lance arrived at the home at 6 months old and there was an instant connection between them both. He has been trained as a Service Dog that helps his handler with tasks while in public. He also helps with specific tasks when it is needed in the home. He is a great support system for his handler.

At this time, both insurances are blaiming the other driver so there is no expected funds from either company. In order to fix his condition, Lance will need surgery on each knee. The DVM quoted the surgeries at $1400 (today we were quoted $1500) per knee. The vet is at St. Paul Veterinary Clinic in Milwaukee.
These funds will be used for the knee surgeries the DVM showed through x-rays that will be needed so Lance can be mobile again. Can you help us help them?
