WWII Honor Flight contribution

Hi folks! My name is Kevin Houghton and I am asking for your help in funding an Honor Flight. In case you aren't aware of them, Honor Flights are free one-day trips to Washington DC for World War 2 veterans to see and tour all of the momuments. It is a small token of appreciation for their sacrifices and one that I am proud to have been chosen to participate in. I will be a "Guardian," an able-bodied military veteran willing to escort one of our greatest generation on the trip. As I mentioned, there is no cost to the Honoree; however, the organization that operates the program does ask for a $500 contribution, of which I can afford $100.
