Justice for Ruxin Wang
Donation protected
November 9th 2017 was a dark day for my family. It started just like any other normal Thursday, until those terrible gunshots resonated. Around 4 p.m., my dad, Ruxin Wang, an honest, caring, and loving man, went outside our home to get trashcan. My Mom heard the gunshots, she panicked and ran out to look for Dad. That was when she saw the last thing she ever wanted to see. There he was, lifeless on the ground, right outside our home. Mom cried for help desperately. But it was too late. Dad was shot and killed senselessly by a group of running-by juveniles.
It has been an excruciatingly long month for my family since that dark day. Police are working hard on the investigation, but the criminals are still at large, roaming on the streets of Nashville.
Our purposes of raising funds serve to assist with the ongoing investigation, of which $10000 will be used to set a monetary reward to meaningful leads on catching the suspects. In the honor of my father's name, we also hope to use the fund to bring positive impact to the community.
The funds will be invested in community efforts in helping our troubled young adults to find home and shelter, to complete their education needed, to help them seek professional assistance so that eventually they will grow to be responsible and compassionate citizens.
