This campaign is an awareness and fund raising effort for Effects of Grace Ministries, Inc. My friend Rodney Skyles started this ministry to help spread the word of God through Bible based teaching of others. The idea of walking across Texas was created from an exercise program created by Texas Parks & Wildlife, where I was employed for 32 years. The idea was to log enough miles walking or running that you would accumulate the equivalent distance across Texas. During this effort I thought "It would be neat to actually walk accross Texas". So here we are.
Donations through this site will be used for incurred expenses while walking across Texas. Any funds raised above expenses will be donated anonymously to Effects of Grace. Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible donation to Effects of Grace Ministries, Inc. can do so through their website. http://effectsofgrace.com
