Hi, my name is Jessie Crawley. I am 25 years old and my fathers name is Michael Crawley. He is 52 years old and was diagnoised with matastic terminal colon cancer back in 2010. Wow, where to begin. He is a father to 4 beautiful children and has 3 grandchildren age 1, 4, and 6. He has owned his own pool business since he was 21 years old which has recently gone into the ground due to his disability and not being able to get out of bed at times. My father just recently went through a divorce of 30 years to my biological mother about 6 months ago and she took everything. She was a stay at home mother and raised us 4 kids but when my father got diagnoised at 46 years old he begged for help with the pool business. She denied his request and just kept hanging around her now girlfriend that she divorced my father for. My father is such a hard working, honest, loving, and supportive man! He is my best friend and I am the one who is keeping him alive and standing strong. Just this year 2015 his cancer has now spread into his liver (which he had 75% removed), his lungs, brain, and now he has it in his bones. CT SCAN showed positived results just 2 weeks ago. He is in and out of the hospital due to severe pain, blood clots, and even blood and bone infections. He is a fighter and I want to give back to him as much as I can. He recently lost his insurance and is on disability. He is on over 20 different medications and has chemo treatments every other week. He has to meet his deductible and than pay 80/20. His medications alone cost over $1,000.00 each month and his disability does not cover this. I am asking for anyone out there with a loving heart who can help out even if it's a few dollars to help out. Drs. just talked to me about hospice and I am trying to prepare for when that day comes which is very soon. I'm the only sibling that helps out which I had to quit my job to take care of him.
