Ryan's Autism Summer Camp Adventure
Donation protected
Our sweet, loving, and intelligent little boy Ryan, is 9 years old. As most of you know, he is non-verbal and has autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We want more than anything for our little boy to have a non-stressful summer, with a solid routine...which he thrives on. Fortunately, this summer, he was accepted into a program where he can interact with other children, build on his skills, make memories, and have fun! My husband and I both work full-time, and have been trying our best to save up money to put towards this amazing summer camp. However, we are still unable to come up with the full amount that is due by June 1. Although we have put money aside, we all know that having children is expensive...especially when they have special needs. Our little guy requires things that most typically developing children at his age do not need, such as his special dietary needs, pull-ups to wear overnight and for swimming, sound-silencing headphones, “chew toys” and weighted blankets/lap pads for sensory issues, etc. If anyone is able to donate, we would be incredibly thankful. No matter what it takes, we will figure out a way to send him to this summer camp, but any help would be truly appreciated! Thank you!
