Scott's Fight Against POEMS
Donation protected
Please help Scott in his fight against POEMS!
October 2015, Scott Nishitani's life changed forever. Scott started having numbness and weakness in his legs and lower body. He eventually lost all ability to move his legs. Multiple doctor visits and invasive tests were never able to officially find a clear reason to what was causing it.
This dedicated husband, father, friend, and Police Officer is never without a smile on his face.

A lengthy stay at UCI Medical Center proved to find a clear diagnosis. He was diagnosed with POEMS Syndrome, an extremely rare blood cancer.
The plan was for a stem cell transplant.
Scott was transferred to City of Hope in Duarte. Chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant started in early February.

February 19, 2016 was Scott's stem cell transplant, his new birthday.
I am setting up this GoFundMe account to add some much needed relief to Scott, Paula, Rachel, and Matt during this extremely trying and difficult time. No donation is too small. Together we can all give Scott and his family some much needed financial relief.
