"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;" - 2 Corin. 9:10
On February 11th, Sandra began to feel immense pain in her abdomen. After almost 24 hours in the emergency room, she found out that she had a bowel obstruction in her intestines called Perforated Diverticulitis. She was immediately taken to emergency surgery. After 4 hours, the doctors had drained two infections the size of tennis balls, and cut out two obstructions in two separate areas of her colon and reattached them. They also removed a large suprapubic intra-abdominal abscess lodged on top of her bladder. Lastly they removed her appendix for preventative care. Sandra was told prior to surgery that she would have a colostomy bag for at least four months, but after intercession of the saints, God stepped in and a colostomy bag was not needed. Hallelujah!
After 2 weeks of hospital stay, Sandra is now home and in recovery. We are quickly finding out all the expenses that urgently need to be covered in order to take care of her and her business. We are requesting your seeds of love.
WHAT SHE NEEDS:
Sandra has a Womb Vac (see pictures) that the doctors anticipate her needing for two months. (Sandra is cut from top of her rib cage to well below her navel area.) This Womb Vac costs $2,000 a month to rent; this doesn't include the supplies to bandage the womb, which costs $1,200 a month. These supplies are to be paid out of pocket as her insurance will not pay for the home-care equipment. Total request is $6,400.
Sandra also is a newly 1 year business owner of restaurant called Julia's Place located in Belleville, IL. She still has to pay rent for the property, plus utility costs for the next four months until she is able to return to work. If she doesn't, the possibility is to loose the business. Cost for rent is $450 a month plus $150 in utilities and licenses for a total request of $2,400.
Finally, Sandra has accumulating costs of personal care, food, sanitation, transportation, prescriptions, and ongoing doctors visits. These expenses are projected for the next four months at $1,200.
Without being able to run her business, she is unable to render an income to provide for herself, the business, and let alone the medical costs.
As we are fully aware of how powerful and able our God is to do exceeding and abundantly above ALL we can ask or think, we are more than confident our God will provide the $10,000 needed to handle the accumulating expenses. It is our faith that it is already done, in Jesus name. We want to offer family, friends, and divine givers an opportunity to sew into what God is doing in Sandra's life, and perhaps share back with her a bit of what she has sown into your life, be it various methods (love, prayer, ear, hand, hug, food, money, covering, etc).
This powerful women of God prays without ceasing on behalf of any who ask her. She loves courageously, gives unconditionally, prays earnestly, and fellowships with our God steadfastly. It is an honor to know and care for her. If you feel the same way, please stretch your faith and maybe even your pocket and pour into the life of sister Sandra Sledge.
May Gods blessings fall upon you, his oil of gladness seep into you, and his love radiate out of you forevermore, in Jesus name, Amen.
