Santo Domingo Utesa Baseball Team

The Utesa Baseball Team from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic has been stranded in Toronto since September 18, due to hurricane Maria. They were scheduled to leave on September 23, when Air Canada cancelled their flights again. The next available flight home - September 30th. With no help from the airline for lodging or meals, UTESA turned to local friends at Domini Canada Toronto Baseball Academy. Rachel and Ramon have been paying out of pocket for all of the team's expenses, with some help from the Dominican community. Because their stay in Toronto has been extended, we are now reaching out further into the community for help. The team needs food and transportation and any little donation will help tremendously.
