Sarah Rivers' Medical Support Fund

As some of you may know, Sarah Rivers has bravely been fighting a medical condition that has attempted to rob Sarah of her life.  Sarah was a hardworking and well-respected employee at BioDelivery Sciences for the last several years. In March of 2017, her illness kept her out of work while she underwent many hospital stays and procedures at Duke Hospital, which is where she is at this time.  Sarah is approximately two months away from being placed on the waiting list for a liver transplant, of which the average wait time to receive an organ donation could be upwards of 103 days. 

Sarah’s financial need to pay for medical premiums, deductibles, doctor’s visits, prescriptions and just general living expenses are mounting.  However, no matter how difficult the path ahead seems to be, nothing has darkened Sarah’s spirit or detoured her smile as she conquers this insurmountable process.  I ask that you please donate to the Sarah Rivers Medical Support Fund in any amount that you are able.  Sarah is most appreciative for the love and support from her family, friends and collegues.
