Sarah’s Legacy

Our beautiful friend, sister, daughter, mother, Sarah Piraino, was recently given a potentially fatal diagnosis of a rare, serious disease known as Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML).  It is believed to have been in part, caused by her long time battle against Lupus and is progressing quickly.  Sarah was accepted into a clinical trial for this disease that we hope will help prolong her life to give her more time with her family, including her 11 year old twins.  Sarah is a full time working single mom of twins, is active in her church and community, puts her faith in god and her children first and lights up any room with her infectious smile.  Not only am I hoping to raise money to help Sarah and her family with impending medical bills, but also to raise awareness of this rare, fatal disease and ask for prayers for Sarah and her family during this unexpected, extremely difficult time.  All funds raised will go directly into an account opened under Sarah's sister in law, Toni Wainwright, to be used for Sarah's medical expenses.
