Hello,
My name is Devon Carrow and I am hoping to raise money to help my friend, Sarah. Sarah was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the start of the year.
Her chances of being cured were originally 80-90%, and after a relapse, are now around 40%. She will be starting a new chemotherapy regimen, which will be administered in-patient. This means she will be in the hospital about 3-4 days every other week for a total of 6 weeks. After her cycles of chemo are done, she will need an autologous stem cell transplant, then after a period of 6-8 weeks, radiation. All of this will affect her fertility. Thus, she needs to see a fertility specialist to discuss having her eggs frozen.
