Bottom Surgery Expenses

Hi everyone, 

I'm having bottom surgery after waiting for 6 years (consciously)- I really was waiting my whole life. I officially transitioned when I was 16 and had top surgery 2 years ago. I'm now ready to move on to the next stage. It's been a very complicated process to prepare on paper and to get it covered by my insurance. Finally, it's coming up at the end of July. I have worked for a while for this opportunity and waited a long time until a few insurance companies came around to covering these surgeries. One problem is it is out of state. It's in San Francisco with Dr. Safir. I have very little money saved due to having barely enough just to get by. I need to be in San Francisco for 3 weeks for the pre-op, OP, and post-op appointments. I am asking for donations for the lodging expenses and miscellaneous things like food and getting around that may add up. Lodging will be about $100 a night and food/necessities at least $10/day.  On top of it, I'd have to miss a month of work, so paying bills is also a worry. I have tried my best and fought with myself to not have to ask for money or out myself due to some risks I am not ready to take, but I really do need help.  Really, any thing helps. I would appreciate it so much. And when the day comes where ever I am able to help, I will help others and spread the love too.
