Sato House Fire Fund
Donation protected
On November 14th our neighbors house in the Carlyle nieghborhood of Bothell, caught on fire and is considered a total loss.
Takeshi and his wife Lee made it out okay, with her barely getting out in a desperate search for their cat. The remains of their beloved cat was found this morning and they are devastasted. They only had their pajamas on and neighbors kindly offered blankets as the Sato's sat and watched their house burn. The fire department managed to find his car keys and her purse, which miraculously came out unscathed.
The Sato's have lived in Carlyle since the late 70's and are a very kind and quiet elderly Japanese couple. They love cats and even enjoy feeding the neighborhood outdoor kitties.
At this time I don't have a lot of details on their needs. They said they will be looking for apartments in the meantime as their house is rebuilt and I'm not even sure what that timeline looks like as of now. We are creating this campaign after asking them if it was a need and they said it was. The dollar amount may and likely will change as we get more details from them and we will also be adding what specifically the funds will used for.
Thank you
