Atmalogy needs our help!!!
For nearly five years, Atmalogy has seen it all: stressed Vandy students during finals looking for a more comforting study spot, pop-ups for local makers and future kitty cafes, weddings(!), corporate execs seeking a meeting place where they could “really think,” and countless other events.
But with the expansion of this city, Atmalogy risks getting left behind. Nashville is growing, but it’s happening at the expense of small businesses like Atmalogy.
A space like Atmalogy’s on a street like West End is now prime real estate in a city that’s experiencing more growth than the actual city limits can handle. Nashville can’t build out anymore, so it’s *attempting* to build over… to build over Atmalogy. *If we don’t help raise these funds, Atmalogy is at risk of losing its home.*
Excerpt from atmalogy.com: “This is not your typical coffee shop. Atmalogy is a place unlike any other in town, and it's hard to understand the magic of it without experiencing it. It's a place fueled by love, positivity, coffee, local teas, healthy lunch items, gluten-free baked goods, and fresh juices. The food is fresh, healthy, colorful, mouthwatering. The vibe is like a big hug from an old friend, or like slipping on your favorite sweater.”
Atmalogy was founded in 2013 by Heather Riney, a creative soul who left jobs in the accounting/finance and healthcare industries for a deeper connection — to herself and others. After traveling and visiting lively coffee shops centered around that very principle, she breathed life into her dream and Atmalogy was born. She invested and risked everything she had to create a cozy space in a long-vacant old house on West End.
Nashville was founded on the backs of entrepreneurs and is still recognized as an entrepreneurial hub (and has been ranked as the #1 city for women-owned businesses!).
This is a city of creatives and originators and supporters and celebrators.
Let’s celebrate entrepreneurship and strong women.
Let’s celebrate the spirit of this city.
Let’s celebrate and save Atmalogy.
Atmalogy means the study of one’s true self… Study yourself. Look inside yourself and recognize the small gift you can make to save a unique & beloved business.
$15,000 is needed by the end of the year, with an additional $25,000 needed by the end of March to cover lease-related expenses. It’s an overwhelming amount of money to Heather and to this business, and it’s scary for her to be public about the need...but if any community can come together and use the power of strength in numbers to support a small business, it’s Nashville. If every person who’s ever walked through those doors could donate even just $25, WE CAN ABSOLUTELY DO THIS!!! No amount is too small —thank you in advance for your support!
On January 1, Atmalogy will be giving away drinks and offering specials to everyone who contributes as an opportunity to come together in person, so stay tuned for more details!
