I am starting this campaign only after recieving many offers to start one for me and Meelo. Also, many people have advised me to retain an attorney to help guide the investigation of Meelo's abuse and help maneuver through all the red tape. It is also important to add that I was fired for going public with Meelo's story of abuse. Having to retain a lawyer, pay for Meelo's possible release, pay bills and care for my elderly father all now with zero income, six weeks before the holidays is simply not possible.

Many people from all over the country have reacted so passionately to Meelo's plight. I have had many offers of financial help and this is the best way to move forward. I want to thank everyone who has offered to help is so many different ways and those who continue to do so.  I have recieved hundreds of texts, calls, and IM's of support. Your prayers, advice and positivity are greatly appreciated.  You have given me the strength and courage to continue the fight for Meelo.  I will not stop until he is removed from his current situation and safe and sound in the only place he has ever called home with the only person who has been with him from day one.

I think it's also important to add that multiple past youth and as well as staff have now come forward to corroborate my story. There is also an active police investigation under way. The truth will come out soon.

I love Meelo with all my heart, he is my friend and we have a bond that can never be broken. He has placed his loyalty and trust in me and I will not let him down.
