Have you ever wanted to TRULY make a difference? And be a part of something BIG. Not just saving one life... but thousands!!??

**IMPORTANT UPDATE**

The 'SAFE Haven' was established in September 2019 with a short lease and we are now looking to renew with a longer lease to give SAFE and the cats in care in particular a more stable home! Of course this means a hefty deposit as well as ongoing running costs which we need to keep up with. If you are able to help us keep the SAFE Haven open please donate what you can now here or preferably via our website (direct deposit donations are tax deductible), click here  for more information about SAFE and to find out how you can send us a tax deductible donation (over $2).

Due to unforeseen construction issues our beloved animal rescue shelter, located on the northern beaches of Sydney, (formerly known as The Animal Welfare League NSW, Ingleside) was evacuated and shut down -permanently- in July 2017... leaving staff without jobs and companion animals without a home!

A group of ex staff and volunteers are now hoping to raise enough money to either buy or build a new rescue shelter for the Northern Suburbs and Northern Beaches!
We have started up a not-for-profit charity named: S.A.F.E Rehoming!
(Sydney's Animals For Everyone Rehoming)

Anyone who lives in Sydney's Northern Beaches or Northern Suburbs area will already know that there are so few animal shelters in the area, and now with the biggest one in the entire region shut down, we truly fear for all the animals who will be left without a safe place of refuge and the families without a safe way to rehome.

All of our dearly loved animals were fortunately relocated to other shelters to find their forever homes. But all of the dedicated staff and volunteers want to continue helping the homeless animals of Northern Sydney!

Although our work will not be affiliated with AWL NSW anymore, they are a great source to see some of the belief systems we follow and what we will strive to be once again.

We had rehomed, on average over 1000 animals each year! And that was just from the Ingleside Shelter.

A shelter on the Northshore needs to exist so that these animals have a chance of a bright future in a new home and so that families can rehome their little furry ones in a safe, ethical and loving way.

Needless to say, we will be more than happy to take on any corporate sponsors/donors who want to inject larger amounts of money than the GoFundMe!

We are hoping to raise enough money to either buy or build a new rescue shelter on the northern beaches!

Please dig deep and open up your heart to help us save thousands of little lives that need our assistance now.
