Timmins Ecological Beekeeping Association is an association aiming to promote ecological beekeeping through educational outreach and conducting research to allow ecological beekeeping to flourish in our northern climate. Our mission is to develop and maintain a healthy bee population organically and ecologically all while spreading awareness of the challenges and threats that face the modern bee and beekeeper while also outlining the importance, benefits and joys of ecological and organic beekeeping. T.E.B.A has been operating for 8 years and conducts research that leads to increased bee colony survival rates in the north, educates students of all ages and members of the public on the importance of apiculture while showcasing its application in land restoration activities. Unfortunately T.E.B.A suffered a major setback on January 12 th 2018 when a devestating garage fire occured causing total loss of our work shopand therefore the loss of all bee equipment and maintenance tools along with all tools used to service our equipment used to maintain our research center on a daily basis. All though T.E.B.A did recieve some help through donations and unsuccessful fundraising efforts it is unfortunately not sufficient for T.E.B.A to operate at its full potential. T.E.B.A is seeking help from generous and concerned donators to raise enough funds for our center to operate and keep our bee's survival research to a maximum. Thank you for your support.
