Save the Auburn Cornfest Fireworks
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
The Auburn Cornfest has been a staple of the Auburn area summer for the past 49 years. Every year we strive to bring lasting memories to the community through comradery, fellowship, parades, music, fun, and fireworks. This is done through many of the institutions that make the Cornfest a great festival: Thursday night fireworks, the softball tournament, our themed parade on Sunday afternoon, and much, much more.
This year, the committee that runs the Cornfest needs your help to keep the long tradition of Thursday night fireworks alive. We normally receive a sponsor for our fireworks display in order to defer some of the costs. That company no longer exists and we haven't been able secure a sponsor.
That's where you, the community, come in.
We realize that the fireworks have become a family event, with many families throughout the community, and not just at the Cornfest grounds, gathering to watch the show, either in the festival parking lot, from the carnival midway, and even from your own backyards. We want to keep this tradition alive and are requesting any help that you can give.
Every single penny donated will go directly to the cost of the fireworks.
Thank you for your continuing support and we hope to see you all July 11-14!
