Save the Children: Yemen & Sudan
We are hosting a fundraiser at an exclusive private space located in High street Kensington on behalf of the Save the Children Charity operations in Yemen & Sudan.
We have focused on raising money for Sudan and Yemen in order to raise awareness for the humanitarian crisis' happening in these war-torn countries. The lack of coverage on the media is not a reason to dismiss such the atrocities occurring in these countries. We must Acknowledge what is happening and do all we can to raise awareness and funds for the Innocent children of failed states who desperately need YOUR help. In times of war, children face enormous challenges every day as well as the possibility of exploitation and abuse. Food and water shortages, inadequate or non-existent health care and little hope for education.
What does £23 mean to us? A dinner, a couple of drinks; For the children in Sudan and Yemen this means survival and opportunity.
Did you know that every 10 minutes a child in Yemen dies from malnutrition or preventable diseases, and 8/10 children require emergency aid?
Did you now that 25% of children in Sudan are involved in child labour, and 65/1000 children die before their 5th birthday?
