Meet Dvash! She has had a long, difficult, life-- and she is only 6 months old!
Dvash lost her eye to an infection, was hit by a car and broke her leg in two places, had her brothers and sisters taken away, was attacked and had flesh torn out of her back, then was hit by a person. Now she has been living outside in the garden by our apartment. She won our hearts with her zest for life and playful, affectionate personality.
With the help of our neighbor we have been caring for her and keeping her healthy, but our time in Israel is coming to a close and we do NOT want to leave her here to die. She is super friendly-- which makes her suseptable to the cruelty of humans.
We want to bring her to the US to be a part of our family but cannot do it alone! After researching the cost to get Dvash her new life, we began fundraising-- then she had complications from surgery after being spayed, developed a hernia, and is now going back for more surgery. The added expense is difficult but we are trying to cover it. Please help us complete this mitvah! Any amount will help.
