Lily the Pug's Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Lily is a 6 year old pug and true to her chubby puggy nature she's a loving, attention seeking ball of squish that loves nothing more than eating and playing tug of war with her stuffed animals.
This morning on April 30, 2018 I got a call from my sister that my dog was hit by a car. My family is watching her while I'm away in Salt Lake City and she wandered into the street after being let out to go to the bathroom (located in a neighborhood with the only traffic coming from neighbors coming to and from home.) The woman that hit her said that she did see her but was unable to stop in time.
Due to the accident Lily suffered severe road rash, two fractures to her pelvis, and a broken leg that is going to require a surgery to implant rods and screws into her back leg. The surgery will take place in one to two months from now after crate healing her other injuries. This will require her to be totally immobile until the surgery - only being allowed to sit in her crate and to be carried outside to use the restroom.
I recently transferred to a part time job in order to focus on school and because I am paying my own way through college, money is tight and I cannot afford to take on her medical bills and the surgery she will require in order for her to be able to walk again.
It devastates me to think that she may not be able run or let alone walk again so I really want to do anything and everything I can to help her recuperate. All the money raised will help to pay for her medical bills, surgery, and any medications she may need while she recovers.
I genuinely appreciate any and all help and support through Lily's time of need.
Thank you so much <3
